About Quack Pest Control

Founded In 1968

Quack Pest Control, a family owned business, was established in the year 1968 by the dynamic husband and wife duo, John and Liz Parry, operating from their residence in Nightcliff. Initially, the business was primarily focused on providing residential pest control management services.

Over the course of the last five decades, Quack Pest Control has progressively broadened its scope of services to assist the residents of Darwin, Palmerston, Humpty Doo and the surrounding rural areas. We have tackled a wide array of pest management issues, including the surge in pest infestations that occurred in the aftermath of Cyclone Tracy.

In the past 15 years, the business baton has been passed on to Chip, who has been diligently carrying forward the family legacy. Throughout these years, Quack Pest Control has remained unwavering in its commitment to delivering the same high-quality service and exceptional customer care that it has been known for since its inception.

Meet Our Family

Chip Parry - Owner/Director

Chip is currently leading Quack Pest Control, diligently upholding the family legacy. His typical day involves overseeing termite systems, collaborating with local builders on pre-construction, and managing all pest control aspects. With over two decades of experience in pest control, Chip possesses extensive knowledge on termites and their management programs. Outside of work, he is an enthusiast of two-wheeled vehicles and adrenaline-fuelled activities. He also supports local clubs and riders from DMCC and TERRA. It goes without saying, he has a great passion for motorbikes.

Mark Pavy - Senior Technician

Mark, a valued member of the Quack Pest Control team since 2016, brings over 30 years of experience to the pest control industry. His passion for pest and termite prevention is evident, and his knowledge is extensive. As our primary expert for all pest-related concerns, Mark is an essential part of our team. Outside of work, Mark enjoys discussing camping and exploring our local area, though he keeps his favourite spot confidential!

Jake Parry - Termite Technician

Jake has been with Quack Pest Control since 2014 and has completed both the General Pest Management and Timber Pest Management training courses. He works diligently in the pest management field and is a valuable asset to our team. You may recognise Jake by the late John Parry’s renowned number plate, "TERMITE," which he proudly displays in his honour.

Joel, mature beyond his years, treats our clients' homes with the utmost care. He is a valuable asset to our team, and we are immensely proud of his efforts in obtaining his general pest license and working towards his termite certification.

Jack - Pest Technician

Jack, a qualified general pest technician, recently joined our team and has begun pursuing termite management qualifications. His attention to detail and friendly approach to servicing our clients' homes truly sets him apart.

Kaz - Office Admin

Kaz, our dedicated office admin at Quack Pest Control. She is responsible for handling all client enquiries, ensuring that your concerns and requests are addressed promptly and professionally. In addition to this, she manages all aspects of Quack's office operations, ensuring that our business runs smoothly and efficiently. Kaz's diligent work guarantees a seamless experience for our clients, from the moment of the initial phone call right through to the arrival of our skilled technician at your doorstep.
