About Quack Pest Control
Quack Pest Control was founded in 1968 by husband and wife team John and Liz Parry from their Nightcliff home. The business started out by offering residential pest control management.
Over the last half a century, Quack has gradually expanded its business to help Darwin residents with a variety of pest management problems, including the increase of pest infestations following Cyclone Tracy.
Since then Chip and Josh have purchased the family business to continue their parent’s legacy. Quack has never stopped offering the same high-quality service and customer care. One change we have made is that we now offer both commercial and residential pest control services. We implement high-tech solutions and safe pest control options. We’re always growing and looking to help more customers get peace of mind and stay pest-free!
Meet our family
Chip Parry Owner/Director
Chip has taken the reigns at Quack Pest Control and is working hard to continue the family legacy. A usual day for Chip involves managing termite systems, pre-construction with local builders and all aspects of pest management. With over 20 years pest experience, Chip certainly is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to termites and their management programs. Outside of work its all things 2 wheels and adrenaline based. He supports local clubs and riders from DMCC & TERRA. Needless to say, he loves his motorbikes.
Mark Pavy Senior Technician
Mark has been part of the Quack family since 2016 and has more than 30 years in the pest industry. He is truly passionate about pest and termite prevention and is a wealth of information. Mark is our go-to resource for all pest related enquiries and is an absolute asset to our team. Outside of work, you can always talk to Mark about camping and exploring our backyard. However, wont ever tell you where his favorite spot is!
Jake Parry Termite Technician
Jake has been with Quack since 2014 and has worked his way through the General Pest management & Timber Pest management training courses. He works extremely hard in the pest management field and is a great attribute to the team. You will see Jake showcasing the late John Parry’s infamous number plate “TERMITE” in his honor.
Daven Jenkins Pest Technician
Daven joined the team in 2022 and has since completed his General Pest Management course. We like to call Daven the “Yes Man” as he takes on every job with his friendly smile and enthusiastic manner.
Cody Lynch Pest Technician
Cody joins the team as a qualified General Pest technician and excels himself with his customer service and great personality. Cody is the newest and the youngest technician here at Quack, we are very proud to have him as part of the team. Compliments fly in daily on how wonderful he is at his job. Which makes Chip chuffed.
Annie Cortes Pest Technician
Annie joined the team late 2022 as a qualified General Pest technician. She has worked her way through the Timber Pest management course, and we are excited to see her develop her skills in the termite field. It is great welcoming such a well-rounded female to the Quack Pest team.
Kaz & Sam Office Admin
Kaz and Sam are the dynamic duo in the office. From answering all client enquiries to managing all Quacks office operations, these two ladies really work hard to ensure a seamless experience from the first phone call to the technician at your door.
